Comedian Turned Down By Tesco

Comedian Jason Manford has failed in his application for a job at Tesco.

Manford revealed on social media that he had applied for a job as a driver during the pandemic as he “wanted to feel useful”.

After receiving a refusal via email, the 38 year-old posted a screenshot of the message with the caption “absolutely livid”, adding: “I was only trying to do my bit.

“I hope the better person got and enjoys the job, I’ll be watching.”
