The singers have been working on a track called Hold Me Closer, which is rumoured to be a re-working of Tiny Dancer.

The song was released as a single over 50 years ago in 1971, but still remains one of the biggest pop songs in the world with a music video for the track released in 2017.

Sir Elton has been collabing a lot recently, with "Cold Heart" becoming a massive hit for himself and UK pop star Dua Lipa in 2021. The singer-songwriter released his album "The Lockdown Sessions" during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Music heads such as Niki Minaj, Stevie Wonder, Miley Cyrus, Charlie Puth and plenty more are featured on the album.

In the past couple of weeks, Sir Elton also collabed with ABBA on TikTok, with the pair playing two of the most iconic piano lines in pop history, ‘Chiquitita’ and ‘Bennie And The Jets’.

Now is time for Britney spears to have a crack at tune with Sir Elton, with a spokesperson saying more details will be released in the coming week.

The star's continuing her legal battle with her father, Jamie Spears, over his alleged misconduct during a 13-year conservatorship.

Britney previously compared it to slavery during emotional testimony in court.
