The PPI Awards took place last night at the Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny.
The radio equivalent of the Oscars celebrate the best of the Irish airwaves.
The judging process involved over 90 people who listened to 282 hours submitted in 700 entries.
They commented that the standard of entries this year stood out as one of the strongest ever.
Beat's Darren Rice picked up a bronze award in the "Specialist Music Broadcaster of the Year" category while there were also nominations for "Best Sports Story" with What's the Score? and Beat's Global Goals initiative in "Best Community/Social Action".
The night was attended by over 700 guests from all over Ireland. The event is the highlight of the radio calendar each year.
