James Cooper is your average guy, as is his friend, Peter Hearne. The only thing that bothered James however, was that his Peter went and got married earlier this year but never had a stag! In fact, he refused to have one!
After numerous attempts to organise a night out for the lads he was getting nowhere. Until now...
He met Waterford boss Derek McGrath who he made a video with explaining that it wasn't good enough not to have a stag. He didn't share that video online at the time, he just shared it with the lads.
This week, by coincidence, James bumped into legendary commentator Marty Morrissey who got in on things and made his own video calling out Peter for not having a stag!
We contacted James and he told us the story:
"He went away and got married in New York at the end of March but he didn't have a stag! He's an awful messer so I reckon he knew what he had coming.
"I got Waterford manager Derek McGrath to make a video giving out about it being bad form and just sent it to him and never shared it but you can see it there now in the comments under the video!.
"I was working in town and saw Marty so I said I'd chance my arm and in fairness I have to say he was a legend and a gentleman! To be fair, he went above and beyond in the name of messing.
"As you can expect with the Cork match coming up the GAA scene down here is hopping mad and Peter is a huge part of the De La Salle club and a great friend of mine, father and husband but he's a total g**l bag and needs a weekend away with the lads to put manners on him! I'm glad to say now though that since the video went live they've agreed to a Hen & Stag party!! It's probably going to happen in November"
It's not a party without Marty!
