Avril Lavigne has announced she's engaged to fellow pop-punk singer, Mod Sun.
The rock/pop singer was a roaring success in the 2000s, with hits such as Complicated, Sk8er Boy and Girlfriend.
The 37-year-old took a break from the pop punk scene, and the music industry as whole to deal with her Lyme disease battle.
Lavigne recently opened up about her condition ona Canadian radio where she said 'I wasn't sure I'd be doing music again'

However, the Canadian star is back on the scene and shared the news of her engagement to Mod Sun on Instagram - saying her fiancé popped the question in Paris during a boat ride down the River Seine last month.
She's posted a series of photos and videos - including one showing off her heart-shaped diamond ring.
In the post she said 'Oui! Je t’aime pour toujours, Dimanche. 27. Mars. 2022.'
