Love Island fans are in their element, lapping up all the drama and gossip brought by this year's series.
Whats App groups and water filter conversations are buzzing, as viewers of the show digest and dissect every episode.
The series broke all records last year, with it proving to have been the most successful to date.
If the last few weeks are anything to go by, this series may just overtake last year in being the most dramatic yet.
Ireland is being represented within the villa this year by Dublin-based scientist Yewande Biala who has stolen viewers hearts, and controversial and outspoken Maura Higgins from Co. Longford.
But, we got to thinking, which strong Irish role-models would we love to see in the series? Although some of these incredible Irish ladies are in relationships, we can't deny we'd love to see them on our screens meandering their way through villa-life all summer long.
1. Erica Cody

The Dublin based alt-RnB singer, songwriter, and producer embodies the words passion and creativity. She's also evidently a girls-girl, strong and brave.
2. Katie Taylor
Female lightweight undisputed world champion would be an asset to the villa. We'd also love her to show those boys how it's done with some morning-gym-workouts-Taylor-style. No more flip-flops, lads!
3. Annie Mac
Who needs guest DJs for those occasional party nights in the villa, when a fellow-islander could put any other DJ to shame? Also, could she be any sounder?
4. Soulé
Her music is being heard by millions of viewers nightly on ads surrounding the show. Apart from killing it in the Irish music scene lately, she's proved herself to be witty and charismatic with her nightly play-by-play of episodes on Twitter.
5. Aoibh Murphy
This twenty-five-year-old entrepreneur would thrive within the villa. Friendly, intelligent and always up for a good giggle? Yes, please.
6. Kirsten Mate Maher
The 2018 Rose of Tralee has made Ireland proud here and further afield since being crowned last summer. We're sure this would be no different within the villa.
7. Niamh Briggs
A tournament filled of ups & downs but I couldn’t have been prouder to get back out & wear that jersey alongside a great group! Special shoutout to 👇🏼 and the rest of my family for always picking me up in tough times! #MeWe #IrishRugby #gotthereintheend ☘️❤️ pic.twitter.com/4ELkWGBrKS

Ireland women's rugby union international Niamh Briggs' charisma and determination would shine on the show.
8. Fionnuala Jones
The former Dailyedge.ie journalist is now sub-editor of GoldenPlec. She's already providing us with a nightly post-show rundown on her Instagram stories, (which are 10/10 by the way), so why not have her in the show? We're sure her knowledge and charm would endear her to both fellow islanders and viewers alike.
9. Nadine Coyle
Has the epic 2001 passport-gate ever been topped on Irish reality TV? We think not. Get her in the villa.
