The prospect of a new Girls Aloud album is the stuff of pop fans' dreams these days, but former member Nadine Coyle might be about to give us the next best thing by teaming up with the hitmakers who made them one of the best British groups of the 21st Century.
The Irish singer-songwriter has been back in the studio with production team Xenomania this week, working on brand new music.
They are the same people who penned some of Girls Aloud's most popular hits, including 'Something Kinda Ooooh', 'The Promise', 'Sound Of The Underground' and 'Love Machine'.
Presumably it'll be for her upcoming second solo album, which serves as the follow-up to 2010's Insatiable.
Despite being a hit with fans, the album only managed to peak at number 47 in the UK after Nadine decided to release it exclusively in Tesco supermarkets.
Nadine spoke of her new album for the first time last year, saying: "I would like to go with a major label this time around but I'm just concentrating on making the album at the moment.
"I would describe it as similar to the London Grammar sound. It'll be a little different to what people expect."
