349 pubs have shut their doors since the pandemic began, according to trade representative bodies.
They've analysed figures from Revenue, and found 58 pubs in total were closed in the South East.
The worst affected county in the region is Waterford with 17 closing, followed by Wexford where 15 were lost.
Tipperary is down 14 pubs since followed by Kilkenny with a loss of 10 and Carlow with 2.
Vintners Federation of Ireland Chief Executive, Padraig Cribben is worried those figures will continue rising if restrictions stay in place:
"What we are saying is that unless those restrictions are lifted and we get back to a normal trajectory of business then that figure of 349 will be significantly increased when we look at these figures again in 12 months time."
