Miriam O'Callaghan is to present The Late Late Show tonight.
The move follows concerns over Ryan Tubridy's health.
RTÉ has stated that Tubs is in self-isolation due to a persistent cough.
It will be the first time a woman has hosted the world's longest-running TV chat show.
