The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been informed that a total of 13 people with COVID-19 have died.
It brings the total Covid-19 deaths in the Republic of Ireland to 1,604.
76 further confirmed cases have been announced, a drop from yesterday's three figure number.
There is now a total of 24,582 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.
