There have been 921 further cases of COVID-19 confirmed by the Department of Health this evening.
414 are in Dublin, 87 in Cork, and 51 in Kildare.
In the South-East Tipperary has had the highest numbers of new cases with 25, followed by Carlow (19), Waterford (15), and Kilkenny (11)
Wexford has confirmed nine new cases of the virus.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has today been notified of 23 additional deaths related to COVID-19.
21 of these deaths occurred in February and two occurred in January.
The number of people hospitalized with Covid-19 in the South East now stands at 139.
There are 7 patients receiving critical care with the virus in University Hospital Waterford, 5 in South Tipperary General, 4 in St. Lukes in Kilkenny and 4 in Wexford General Hospital.
Figures show that there are currently 1 critical care bed available in the region and there are 58 general beds available.
