Every November, we spread positive vibes across the South East with Feel Good Friday.
For five Fridays in November, we focus the spotlight on a deserving group or individual living right here in the region.
Our second recipient was Scott Troy from Waterford city. He was nominated by Michelle, Scott's aunt and guardian, and the folks at Waterford's Solas Centre.
Scott attends 2nd year in CBS Mount Sion and is a diehard footie fan. He supports his beloved Liverpool and only recently moved to play for St. Paul's FC.
Following his mam's passing last year and his grandad's in February, 14-year-old Scott was adamant he wanted to take part in the Solas Run & Walk for Life.
Scott raised an incredible €1,400 for the centre - an achievement we felt was worth shouting about.
On Friday morning's Beat Breakfast, we surprised Scott in what was a moment that he'll never forget...
Today's #FeelGoodFriday sees us shine a spotlight on Scott from Waterford, who raised an incredible €1,400 for the @SolasCentre following the passing of his mam & grandad. We'll have a whole host of treats in store for him across the day, so stay tuned for updates! pic.twitter.com/GD5VvoFlyd

We broke the big news first.
In a few months time, we'll be jetting Scott off to Anfield to watch Liverpool face Crystal Palace. There, he'll be treated as a VIP where he'll meet former Reds heroes.
First, it was off to CBS Mount Sion where our Shonagh granted a homework-free night!
It's official... it's a no homework night for these students (not the teachers though!) at CBS Mount Sion in Waterford as #FeelGoodFriday's Scott returns from his on-air appearance on Beat Breakfast! pic.twitter.com/0hP8Fua9w8

With classes out of the way, Scott and his mates headed straight for Vantastic Gaming's tech-packed truck. So, what did they choose? There was no contest, really. FIFA it was!
We're not going to lie, the day was proving to be something of an emotional rollercoaster...

This how you know it’s a Friday in November here at Beat. #feelgoodfriday
Keeping with the footie theme, we whisked Scott and his pals off to Kingfisher Fitness Club where they played a game of five-a-side with some Waterford FC players.
Our Scott and his friends had a great time meeting and having a game of five-a-side with a few of the @WaterfordFCie players. #feelgoodfriday continues as we move onto @EddieRocketsIRL for dinner 🍔🍟 pic.twitter.com/gDr3JFup7i

They were only starving after all the running about, so it was off to Eddie Rocket's on the Dunmore Road for some decent grub to finish the night off!
