Grace O'Sullivan says Boris Johnson has 'missed the boat' in saying the world is a minute to midnight on the doomsday clock.
Speaking to Beat News, she says this week is crucial to the future of the planet.
"This conference must come up with legally binding targets to try to keep the warming of the planet to at least or below."
"And shockingly we are off course so we are cooking the planet and we will be the ones that suffer."
The former US President also has the same view as O'Sullivan.
Today said Barack Obama says "we are nowhere near" where the world needs to be in its fight against climate change.
Speaking at the Cop26 summit in Glasgow, the former US President says it's up to the rich nations to step up and save the planet.
We’ve done some important work since the Paris Agreement was signed six year ago, but we’re still nowhere near where we need to be on climate. Watch live from #COP26 in Glasgow as I talk about the steps we can take to combat climate change. https://t.co/fpoGbnNehm
