You don't need to be an expert to have your voice heard on climate change. The Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications created Climate Conversations. An initiative that will feed into this year's Climate Action Plan.
The climate Action Plan 2021 contains a detailed plan of action to achieve a 51% reduction in overall greenhouse gas emissions. Notably, it describes how Ireland is hoping to become carbon-neutral by 2050.
Now it's your chance to be part of the 2022 Climate Action Plan.
Climate Conversations is an online questionnaire. It allows you to give your views on how Ireland can become greener. It covers a range of topics, like transport, Recycling, heating our homes and sustainable living. The aim of Climate Conversations is to allow all voices to be heard in a fair and equal manner. Let's not leave anyone behind when we go green together.
