Dean Egan

Dean Egan is our News and Sports Editor. A native of Bagenalstown in County Carlow, Dean graduated from IT Carlow with a BA (Honours) Degree in Media and Public Relations in 2017. He started his career in local radio before going on to work with Communicorp in Dublin. Dean joined Beat on a part-time basis working weekends, before being made full time. Dean took the position of News and Sports Editor in July 2019.
