A music junkie since his early years, Darren Rice has amassed a huge library of what was once thought to be useless information in his head, only realising upon his CHR radio baptism that there are indeed people who would find entertainment in his vast musical knowledge & at least now he has an excuse for that pile of ancient Smash Hits magazines in his attic! Early beginnings on Dublin pirate KissFM first introduced Darren to the world of radio, followed by a production position at Beat which later led to the on air hot seat in 2010. From Disco to Northern Soul, Shoegaze to Britpop, Chart Hits to German Techno, you'll find it all in Darren's record collection, concealing amongst it a sneaky smattering of Lionel Richie & Rod Stewart albums that he inherited from his Mam who he credits with cultivating his love of all things music.
